The Bargaining Committee has been meeting over the past two weeks in Burnaby, B.C., assembling the bargaining package,
from over 600 resolutions received from Locals across the country.
It is clear from these resolutions submitted that there are many common areas where members are looking for improvements. The Committee has been working hard to translate these resolutions into a clear and focused package that will benefit our members and achieve their goals. Despite the many difficult decisions taken, the Committee was successful in putting together a package that the Committee unanimously supported and that will be presented during the upcoming Bargaining Convention.
The Committee has a very busy schedule in the next few weeks in preparation for the upcoming Bargaining Convention which takes place on April 26-28 in Kelowna, B.C. The next set of meetings is scheduled to resume on April 6.
Once again, the Bargaining Committee would like to thank the office staff for all of their hard work in preparing and translating the package that the Committee looks forward to presenting to the Bargaining Convention delegates.
The Committee will continue to inform the members as updates become available.
