The Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU) Bargaining Committee resumed face-to-face negotiations with Telus, as scheduled, on August 17.

  Discussions have begun on specific bargaining proposals.  Although it is very early in the process, we are pleased to report that negotiations continue to progress positively.  The Company and the Union have scheduled meetings and have agreed to meet three days a week, allowing for two days to be used for research, preparation, and consultation.
