The B.C. Coalition for People with Disabilities recently learned that it has lost its government funding to be able to continue to do Canada Pension Plan (CPP) appeals as of March 31, 2010.
The CPP disability benefits program provides a monthly benefit to people who are no longer able to work because of disability.
“We are terribly disappointed with the decision to cut this valuable resource, not only for our members, but for all British Columbians who may need assistance at some point”, said George Doubt, National TWU President.
