COPE 378 members from the Telecommunications Workers Pension Plan (TWPP) office are on strike.

 They have set up a picket line as of yesterday, February 15, 2012.

Negotiations are ongoing and have been for some time. However, COPE 378 has decided to continue with the strike action.

The TWPP is currently waiting for a response regarding the last offer made to COPE 378, but have yet to be invited back to the bargaining table.

The TWPP is making every effort to ensure that timely payments of members’ pensions and benefits are made.

This dispute will not have any effect on the TWU offices or operations.
