Keep Jobs in Canada Campaign in the News!
Posted 2009-May-27

The Keep Jobs in Canada Campaign’s online petition has amassed nearly 7000 signatures since the May 6th launch on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.  This is great news but we can do better!  Canadians are gravely concerned about unemployment in Canada and speaking out about the devastating impact that the offshoring of jobs has on our economy and communities.  This sends a clear message to companies like TELUS who continue to send jobs overseas and to the Government who seems to have turned a blind eye:  Enough is enough!

The Campaign has been featured in print, radio, television and online and is still going strong.  To view the news clips, please click on the TWU You Tube channel http://www.youtube.com/view _play_list?p=1A3A11E46679AE7C or visit the official Keep Jobs in Canada Campaign site at www.keepjobsincanada.ca where you can also sign the online petition, send a letter to your MP, or simply follow the Campaign on Fickr, Twitter, You Tube, and Facebook.

If you haven’t already signed the petition, please go to www.keepjobsincanada.ca.  The site also offers a printable version of the petition so if you want to get friends and family to sign, we encourage you to do so.  All hard copies can be mailed to:
