The Telecommunications Union (TWU) has made every effort to find ratification meeting locations that are suitable and accessible to all members. 

The Union recently received several inquiries about why a more convenient location was not found for members living in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.  A lot of time and energy was put into finding a suitable location, but despite all of our efforts, there simply were none available.  This is because most venues have to be booked at least six months in advance, compounded by the fact that graduation, trade shows and wedding season is upon us.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our members living in the Lower Mainland, but rest assured that we did everything in our power to make these meetings accessible to everyone. Please note that the downtown Vancouver location is Skytrain and West Coast express train accessible.
