In Memorium – Jack Poole Passes Away
Posted 2009-Oct-23

It is with great sadness that the Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU) announces the passing of Jack Poole, Chairman for 20 years and co-founder of Concert Properties.

David Podmore, a close friend who also co-founded Concert Properties with Jack, and now serves as Chair and Chief Executive Officer, said, "I visited with Jack at dinner time last night and watched the world series baseball game with him - he was in good spirits and very comfortable. We have lost a very dear friend, champion, and inspirational leader who left an incredible positive legacy for us all to be inspired by and build upon. It is very hard to say goodbye."

Jack died early today in hospital after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. We offer our deepest condolences and best wishes to the Poole family during this difficult time.
