Long-time Brother Neil Morrison was laid to rest on December 11, 2009.  The celebration of Neil’s life held December 28, 2009 was well attended.  Neil’s wife, Patsy and their daughters,

Megan and Johanna were supported by over 300 people, many being TWU members along with others who were privileged to have shared their life with Neil.

While Neil had struggled with some health issues, his death at age 61 was unexpected by family and friends alike; Neil’s presence was something that friends and family were hoping to enjoy for many years to come.  Neil’s absence has left a hollow feeling in our hearts and minds, and many people are asking what they may do to assist Neil’s family deal with his unexpected death.

In response to the heartfelt need of many to assist in helping the family, a trust account has been set up if people are wishing to donate to Neil’s family.

Donations can be made at any Vancity Credit Union, Account #909960, Branch 59, Neil Morrison Family in trust.  While we understand that Locals may wish to donate, they are being directed that it should come from their social funds and not their administrative account.
