New Structural Change Survey Committee Seeks Two Members
Posted 2009-Jul-8

The Committee's mandate is to draft a survey for the purpose of determining what type of structural change, if any, the membership would desire.

The Telecommunications Workers Union (TWU) is a membership driven and service-oriented trade union committed to upholding strong democratic principles. In a continued effort to promote further transparency, accountability and responsiveness, a motion was approved to form the new Structural Change Survey Committee comprised of two members from the Executive Council, two members from the Constitution Committee and two members from outside of these bodies. The Committee's mandate is to draft a survey for the purpose of determining what type of structural change, if any, the membership would desire. The draft survey would then be sent to Executive Council for final approval before it is distributed to the membership.

To date, the TWU has appointed two members from the Executive Council and two members from the Constitution Committee but still needs to find two more volunteers. If you are interested in filling this position or would simply like more information, please contact Cindy Orivolo at cindy.orivolo@twu-stt.ca . This notice will stay online for about 30 days. Please respond by August 7, 2009.
