Local 51 would like to issue an open invitation to members in the Lower Mainland to come to their local meeting being held at the union office, 5261 Lane Street, on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 4:45 p.m. 

In attendance will be guest speaker Rev. Matthew Johnson, who has made many contacts with the homeless in Vancouver.  The Local is planning on kicking off a blanket/charity drive to assist the homeless and hope the members will join them in this worthwhile endeavor.
