Although certainly well-deserved, Lila Hackett will be missed by friends and colleagues who have had the pleasure of working with her over the years.

As a TWU member for nearly 38 years, we are all profoundly grateful for Lila’s contribution. A lot of people see Lila as a hero, not only for her tireless work but because they knew they could count on her to never back down and always stand up for members.  

Thank you for your dedication throughout the years. On behalf of the untold number of people whose lives were enriched by your commitment, everyone at the TWU would like to extend their warmest good wishes for health and happiness in your retirement.
