Voices/Voix* is hosting a free conference “Defending advocacy and dissent: a long-term strategy” on Friday, October 21, 2011,

 at the Hotel Marriott Château Champlain in Montreal, for a discussion about strategy to defend people’s rights to dissent, advocacy and democratic space in Canada.
